The Fondation Louis Vuitton is set to host an exhibition dedicated to Hockney, running from April 10 to August 31, 2025. David Hockney 25 will showcase over 400 works spanning his remarkable seven-decade career. Visitors will experience paintings, drawings, digital art, and immersive video installations, many sourced directly from the artist’s own studio. Personally involved in the curation, Hockney has chosen to highlight the past 25 years of his work while also featuring some of his most iconic early pieces, such as A Bigger Splash (1967) and Mr. and Mrs. Clark and Percy (1970-71). The exhibition will take visitors on a journey through Hockney’s evolving artistic world, from his Yorkshire landscapes to vibrant Normandy scenes, culminating in a breathtaking multimedia installation inspired by his passion for opera.
